The restaurant's deep Riviera blue dining room, accented with wood detailing inspired by mid-century Mediterranean boating culture, creates an enveloping sense of place. High ceilings and a central skylight draw natural light deep into the space, while the generous bar becomes a natural gathering point—equally suited for intimate dinners and convivial meet-ups.
Collaborating with longtime friends at interior design team Studio UNLTD and New School Restaurant Group, the design carefully reimagined every aspect of the compact footprint, transforming a former fairy tale-themed restaurant into a timeless bistro. Strategic planning maximized the dining, patio, and bar areas while accommodating an expanded bar program and fully renovated kitchen. Every design decision balanced efficiency with atmosphere, ensuring the space feels both generous and intimate.
The result is a neighborhood destination that honors French culinary tradition while embracing Southern California's indoor-outdoor culture—a place where the architecture quietly supports what matters most: good food, good company, and the simple pleasure of time well spent together.
