Great programming demands great infrastructure. TYT Network, the longest-running online news and politics show in the world, was expanding in 2017—growing their team, increasing their coverage, and working toward 24/7 programming. They needed spaces and systems that could support that ambition without interrupting their daily broadcast schedule.
-
NCA Studio served as both Architect and Project Manager, working with TYT's media, development, and operations teams to renovate their server room, green room, open office spaces, and studios. We upgraded electrical systems, installed new technology infrastructure, and developed a careful transition plan that allowed construction to proceed without disrupting programming.
Growing companies rarely stand still, and TYT was no exception. As staff numbers and needs evolved, we created layout studies showing a range of seating densities and collaborative configurations. This helped leadership understand their capacity for growth and make informed decisions about their space. The result was a smooth expansion that supported TYT's launch of their 24/7 YouTube channel in 2018 and helped boost viewership to 200 million across platforms.
